What book(s) are you currently reading?
I'm reading (alternating between) the following two books:
1. Walden and Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau
2. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Before those two, I read the book, "Into the Wild" (Yes, they made a movie) by J.Krakauer

Civil Disobedience is still disobedience and must be responded to with brutal force.

I'm about halfway through, and I'm enjoying it. It's quite political though, and contains A LOT of statistics and figures. At times it reads like a research report, but still pretty interesting.

I read Jane Eyre in my college female lit class, and I actually enjoyed it. We also read something by Austen, but for the life of me I can't remember what. Unfortunately work, gym and 3 kids limits my time to read now.

'Pale Fire' by Vladimir Nabokov
I'm a huge fan of his.
A few weeks ago I read 'Mindless Eating' by Brian Wansink. It was pretty interesting.

I know what you mean. It's hard to fit it in when my kids are with us. But, when they are with their dad, I read almost non-stop. Especially in summer out by the pool.

How are you liking Atlas Shrugged? I read that last summer, and read Fountainhead about a year before that.

Before I rededicated myself to the gym a couple years ago I was reading like crazy, about a book a week. But I've always gone in phases with books, read about 8 in row then stop for a while.

I do the same thing. I will read a whole book in a weekend, but then not read for 4 months. I do that with all my hobbies.
