Yep.
Pretty sure the fiber can slow the uptake of the nutrients you eat, which would result in a lowered blood sugar. Low blood sugar makes you hungry.
That's just my assumption.....

But when you eat more, it fills you.
I cut up green, orange, red, yellow peppers and dip them in organic salsa.
If I ate the whole pepper, that's like 30 calories. Salsa is 10 calories a tablespoon. I love vegetables.

As SibreK pointed out to me, and I have recently been adhering too, I do not try to eat a lot of non-calorie dense foods. Only because they will make you consume more food to make you full. And he pointed out that if you eat calorie dense foods most of the time, you will be able to get full on smaller amounts. Regardless vegetables are good sources of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, so eat up. I have brocolli at atleast 2 of my meals a day.

I take my snow peas, broccoli, peppers, etc etc and eat it with organic salsa.
I understand that a lot of people can't eat vegetables, but I'm so hooked on them it's not even funny. I'll saute mushrooms in salsa. Now that's good eating!

The salsa actually gets cooked up, so I might add a little water to keep it liquid, but the mushrooms suck the salsa up like a sponge.
Then you take the excess (the peppers, onions, etc in the salsa) and eat that with "red" mushrooms and it's amazing.
That's if you like mushrooms and salsa. I love salsa. It's my anti-drug. lol

I love making healthy foods. People look at me like I'm nuts when I bust out spices and herbs.
People aren't use to fresh things these days anymore... If I could I would put salsa in my oatmeal... that actually sounds good to me. Hmmm...
I already put cinnamon in my oatmeal. That's my other crack... salsa and cinnamon.

They fill you up at first, do to their large size, but hunger comes later because not enough calories were consumed. Not saying you didn't know this FameGirl, just using your post as the example

I usually eat it with a good deal of chicken/steak/eggs, etc. And then I'll usually have some peanut butter afterwards cuz i love it. So even after like 400+ calories it doesn't do much for me. I think it's something to do with the actual veggies haha i dunno.
