Straps for mp3 player to listen while working out? Comfortable?
Hey guys,
I was just wondering how you guys listen to your music at the gym? I'm guessing most of you that do are using mp3 players. I personally have an iPod nano 1st gen but I've always been working out with people at the gym so far and so haven't had the need to listen to music. I'll most likely start working out alone at the gym soon and was wondering if those straps they have for the iPod are comfortable and if they get in the way of some exercises (bench, squats, deads, etc.)? How do they feel when sweating and where on your arm do you guys strap it?
Any suggestions for alternatives would be appreciated too. Thanks!

Any suggestions for alternatives? Just put it in my pant pocket? I think that would get in the way and get annoying.

i recommend you not listening to music while workout out. if you want to get big, put your focus on the muscles you are working, not music.

Do that and instead of an arm band get a clip thing for your mp3 and clip it to your waistband. Its what I do and im pretty awesome so you should do it.

I have an armband I got for 10$ at walmart for my zune. Its not that comfortable (the band is wearing down), but it doesnt get in the way of lifting and it keeps your mp3 player away from the weights. And i sometimes do put the cord through my shirt too.

this mp3 player is great for working out: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Sansa-..._cp_ob_title_1
I'd broken several more expensive mp3 player's screens dropping DB's. I'm not scared a/b breaking this b/c its tiny and is easily replaceable. It also has a clip for your belt.

Ipod shuffle.
Cheap, and you can load JUST workout music to it.
