So i've realized that over the last four years this section of the bb.com forums has helped me alot with training and getting to where I am now and I just wanted to say thanks. To show my appreciation I will put up the Letter of Interest that I used to send to colleges coaches at different schools to get in contact with them...its good for any sport really even though I used it for football...i've had a few coaches from different schools say that it was a really good introductory letter and I just wanted to share this with yall...seein as how im on my new computer for college right now i wont actually be able to put the link up for the file till tomorrow..
Also for the first bout 20 people I will send the link to my summer manual for football that I received back in June that is of great use if you're looking to get in shape for the season...
You gotta PM me for the manual though cuz ill probably forget otherwise
Thanks again (Sorry fo the long read)

"One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like an infantile retard." -Mike Tyson

Ok im just going to copy and past the letter in here because I dont wanna do the wohle megauploads thing right now...this is a letter i sent to East Carolina University even though they were already looking at me a little through my coach:
Coach Shankweiler,
My name is _____; I am a 6 ft 3 in. 280 lb. Senior Offensive and Defensive Lineman at _____ High School , NC . I am emailing you because I am very interested in playing football for your university. I play primarily Offensive Line at the Guard position; however, I was viewed by my coaches as an all-purpose lineman, playing everything from Center to Defensive Tackle. Currently, I am looking at colleges where I will be able to play varsity collegiate football as well as earn a top-notch education. I believe that East Carolina University can offer me that chance. East Carolina is one of my tops choices for attending school and playing football. I believe that my talents on the field and my academic excellence off the field would help contribute to your outstanding program.
I was moved to Offensive Line this past season because my coaches believe that I possessed the natural talent to be a good Offensive Lineman. I was named All Conference this year as well as a Captain of my team. I am a smart player on the field and possess good foot work, and a natural tenacity and ability to play Offensive Guard and Center as well as Defensive Tackle because of my strength (Bench-315 and Squat- 415) and understanding of technique. I believe that my athletic skills and good football intuition strengthen my quality as a player.
I excel in the class room as well; On top of athletics, I am a member of the National Honor Society, maintain a 3.75 GPA, do several service activities through the NHS, and I am also involved in being an assistant to our Athletic Trainer through my Sports Medicine Class. I have an overall SAT Score of 1190 and plan to take the SAT II later this month. I have already completed an application to East Carolina as well.
I have maintained and improved my conditioning and strength over the off-season; I worked with former NC State strength coach, CJ Hunter who is helping me to become a better overall player. Later this year I will also be working with another coach who will help me improve my agility and technique. I really hope that you or one of your coaches would spare the time to take a look at me because I believe I have the right tools and spirit to be developed into a good player and asset under your program.
I am very excited to move forward in this process and look forward to speaking with you at greater length in the future. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I would appreciate any opportunity to meet or speak with you. If you are interested, my contact information is listed below as well as my coach?s information where you can get more of my stats:

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
