    Keto Ground Beef Recipes?

I know ground beef is perfect for keto and has pretty much perfect ratios when it is normal ground beef. So i have been eating it alot lately. But it is starting to get boring.

Having a burger without bread is ok, but I used to eat ground beef with macoroni like hambuger helper style, or tacos.

it just seems like eating the beef by itself or just with cheese will get boring.

Anyone have any keto recipes that use ground beef?

    thnx in advance.

    ^^^^

Thats hilarious I made that exact thing tonight before seeing this post.

I made some ground beef with all my usual spices including taco seasoning.

Then thought id decided what to do with it after. I decided to make taco in a bowl. I put in cheese and a bunch of green onion and ate it that way. Was thinking sour cream but didnt do it.

I think Im gonna go get a crap load of pork rhines and start usin those as mix with ground beef. or melt some cheese on them, etc.

After years of eating plain skinless, boneless chicken breast, regular 80/20 ground beef, not drained with a Foreman grill, tastes amazing to me. I usually just some salt and pepper, maybe a touch of garlic powder, and add to salad. Or make my own lettue wraps.

Make shepards pie using mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes.

    Stuffed green peppers

add sour cream, cheese, bunch of spices and it's a creamy delight.

    Here is what i do....

I mix olive oil, garlic powder, chili peppers, peppers, ground beef and grill it on my george foreman. Slap a slice of pepper jack or swiss cheese on there and take it for lunch everyday. For dinner I eat samething with sunnyside up eggs on top.

Yes, it is essentially a Keto Bible...plus you can pretty much swap out the meats (chicken for beef, beef for chicken) for whatever you want because the seasonings are so good...

My only comments on how to make things there "healthier"
-use 1/3 less fat cream cheese (same carbs, less saturated)
-use EVOO instead of butter when possible (simply because its just BETTER for you to consume that type of fat)

I just tried this for lunch, and I assure you even though it looks/sounds gross, it is AMAZING!

5 oz of 80/20 ground beef with some cajun seasoning to your liking
    0.5 cup of cheddar cheese
    4 TBSP of mayo
    0.5 medium avocado

Brown the ground beef and add seasoning while browning. Once browned, add cheese and let melt. Then add mayo and stir until mixed. After in a bowl (make sure you get ALL that grease), mix in the avocado. If you like everything in it, it is sooooo good!

Pan fry it in a little butter with some EVOO (so the butter doesn't burn) when it's half cooked add some steak rub seasoning/spice (Here in Canada we have Montreal Style Steak Seasoning...mmmmm) and continue to cook until done. Sometimes I add a couple of drops of Low-Carb Ketchup to a 1 cup serving. I used approx. 1 Tbsp of seasoning for 1.5 Lbs of raw beef.

    beef up your beef

here is what i do with beef

    1 lime
    1 minced jalapeno
    1/8 cup minced onions(optional)
a bit of hot salsa(similar to the pace stuff)
    chipotle tabasco sauce
    garlic salt to taste
8 oz 96% lean ground beef

first put some lime juice on the beef to get it to marinate a bit, mince the jalapeno and saute it in a bit of water or oil, whichever works for you, then add the salsa, garlic salt and tobasco to your liking, mix that up and add your beef and stir around untill cooked =D.

Sometimes when it is done i mix in 1 slice of fat free cheese and it turns into more of a hamburger helper type dish, you wont really notice that there is cheese in there, but its good =)
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always gotten.

I usually mix up some ground beef with egg, clove or two of garlic and cook it with cajun seasoning and cheese. I'll cook up some spinach with olive oil and mix everything together with a little mayo and put it all in a low-carb tortilla.

I usually buy 70/30 hamburger and sometimes to introduce flavor beyond seasoning, near the end of cooking will spoon out most of the fat, fry a little more until the smaller bits form crusts and then spoon in some pesto sauce (about one spoon for every 2 spooned out).

You can also make a pesto/herb butter:

    Basil/herbs
    nuts
    garlic
    parmesan/cheese
    stick of butter
    salt/pepper/spices

I use a food processor but you can achieve the same with time and good knife skills, just chop everything fine, can leave the nuts a bit chunky for texture. Wrap in parchment/wax paper and make a log and refridgerate. Slice off about 1-2Tbsp "coin" and stick it in the middle of 6 oz of ground beef (leaner works better here) and make a burger patty. Grill it up!

Make your own taco seasoning, add equal amounts of cumin, paprika, cayenne, garlic and onion salt and a bit of chili powder if you like.

    Keto Shepards pie! #lowcarb #keto

    Keto Shepard's Pie

Hey guys! This is keto/paleo friendly, and amazing! I'm not adding measurements, it all depends on what size you want to make, and it's pretty hard to screw up. Enjoy!

    Ingredients-
Ground pork and ground beef - create a 50/50 mixture
    Green pepper
    Spinach
    Leek
    Mushrooms
    Lots of cauliflower!
    Cream Cheese
    Shredded cheese
    Chives
    Garlic
    Heavy cream
    Butter
    Eggs
    Oil
    Salt
    Pepper
    Hot sauce

    Instructions:
    Preheat oven to 350
Place a pot of water on the stove to boil

    1. Place sliced mushrooms and spinach in an oiled frying pan to sweat with minced garlic

    2. Place cut up cauliflower in boiling water

    3. Add chopped leeks and chopped green pepper to spinach and mushrooms

    4. When veggies have softened slightly, add your 50/50 pork and ground beef mixture. Spice as per preference and add hot sauce/salt/pepper

    5. Stir and fully cook veggie and meat mixture. You may have to dean some of the fat from the pan

    6. When cauliflower is soft, drain from water in colander. While hot, mash cauliflower. I reccomend placing the cauliflower in a food processor or blender.

While in the blender, add heavy cream, minced garlic and butter. When the cauliflower has reached a desired consistency, add cream cheese, salt, pepper and chopped chives ( the store brand freeze dried chives work great)

If using a blender, you may have to repeat this process 2 or 3 times depending on the amount of cauliflower. Don't try to fit it all in at once!

    7. In the frying pan, crack enough eggs to coat your meat/veggie mixture. When fully mixed, place in a casserole tray and spread mixture out evenly.

    8. Place your cauliflower mash on top of meat/veggie mixture. Spread evenly

    9. Finally, top cauliflower mash with shredded cheese. Cover with tin foil.

    10. Bake in the oven at 350 for 25 minutes. If you want to make the top crispy, broil on high until cheese begins to brown

I don't know the exact calorie/carb/fat count, but it tastes amazing

    Enjoy!

Ground beef lettuce wraps. I saute ground beef then add chopped canned water chestnuts, chopped mushrooms. Then season with Braggs or soy sauce, ginger, garlic, Sriracha for spice (optional). Spoon onto a lettuce leaf, wrap and eat.

Cabbage rolls. Mix ground beef, eggs, minced garlic, onions, and seasoninngs. Wrap in cabbage leaves, secure with toothpick. I mix 1 can tomato sauce in a pan with 1 can chicken broth. Place the wraps in a single layer then simmer until done.

Mix ground beef with seasonings, minced garlic and onions, and egg. Spray a cookie **** with nonstck spray. Bake until done. You can toss with any sauce you like- marinara, sgar free teriyaki, etc
