    Thanks KI. Yeah the extra sleep definitely did me well. It's a two edged sword. The rest always feels great and makes me feel recovered but at the same time, I'm like shiiiet I shoulda gone to get in at least some cardio time.

    Haha I know. My gym recently downgraded the "gym" area to expand more on the child care after school program and martial arts. That's where their money maker is anyways.

    Thoughts/Comments/Notes
    -I'm still recovering from the bachelor party. My diet was a mess over the weekend. Didn't even bother weighing in this morning. Instead, focused on getting back on track, hitting increased cardio, and sauna to try and bounce back.
    -Had a great time this weekend and lots of good eats/drinks with little sleep. But hey bachelor parties don't come around often so you gotta live it. I don't regret it one bit but I am ready to get back on track this week with everything.

    -Feeling better from the weekend and back on the grind this week. Bouncing back with a vengenance. Already losing that weekend bloat.
    -Focused more on my chest doing work than on weights or going heavy. The result was a better MMC and a great chest pump.

    5/1 OFF
    -My little boy has a cold and I think that rubbed off on me some. Battling it. Extra rest did me good plus I had to be at work crazy early today. Adjusted my carbs some to a lower amount today as such.

    5/2 BACK
    Sets x Reps (Weight Used, if given)

    -Superset 1. Wide Grip Pullups & Chest Supported T Bar Rows. 4 sets of each. Just did 5-6 pullups per set. Rows were 10 - 12 per set.

    -Superset 2. Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns & Straight Arm Lat Pushdowns. 5 sets of each. Hit 10 - 12 reps per set on both exercises. Incredible feeling in my back.

    -Hanging Knee Raises. 3 sets of 12 reps. First few reps of each set I used a 25 lb db between my feet.

    -Standing Cable Crunches. 3 sets of 12 reps.


    Cardio: 30 minutes inclined walking. Sauna.


    Thoughts/Comments/Notes
    -Definitely needed the rest yesterday. Bounced back and feeling a lot better today. It's very underrated how great rest can help you.
    -Hit the gym later than desired this morning, hence the supersets. The supersets delivered with a crazy quick pump. My back was feeling it from the start. Love that feeling. Cardio wasn't bad at all... surprisingly and hit the sauna as well. I definitely can tell in the mirror I've leaned out from where I was when I started. Progress.
    -Started a new couple of supps to my stack this week as well. I'll be linking the log in here soon. Basically, I'm running MuscleTechs' Hydroxycut, Nano Vapor, Nitro Tech, and Phase 8.

    UPDATE
    -I've been continuing my cut and just finished up a MT sponsored log that you can check out at the link above. I've been cutting for a hot minute now and really feel like I'm getting where I want to be or at least almost there anyways. Just a little bit further.

    -Just got back from DC yesterday and had a great time. Saw the Nationals/Phillies on Saturday and Sunday. Saw Strasburg dominate Sunday. Great trip. Lots of good eats, drinks, and good times. Back on track yesterday and carrying over into this week. A lot of people have been commenting on my weight loss. Have the faint signs of the V going on so yeah I'm happy with everything. I'll be going to the beach in another 2 weeks so definitely motivated to give it hell these next 14 days.

    thats what happens when you never clear your pm's i got some in there between me and team punishment, me and you, and me and bob back when he was layzie. crazy looking back at all that.

    all is well with me, been dealing with a herniated disc since just after i stopped regularly posting here in 08. went too low on leg press and rounded my back and felt a really gnarly pop. took 3 years to get a proper diagnosis (free health care up here but its mostly ****) and a ct scan but now im back in making changes to my life again. feeling great

    I know what you mean. I'm in a constant state of having to clear mine out now.

    Hate to hear that about the disc but happy you are coming back and making changes and feeling great. Always happy to hear that.
