Definitely. Thanks I'm picking up some Vit C to load up on as well and kicking this stuff to the side. My sinuses are the worst though.
Thanks Broc. Thanks for looking at the set up as well... first day in the books and I'm eating one of my meals now... chicken and oats... using oats as I ran out of sweet potatoes
Definitely giving it hell gotta get ready for the Arnold.
Thanks always for the support and help HG. Glad to know you got everything on lock with regards to getting healthy. It's that time of the year with cold weather and so forth. Picking 'em up tomorrow.
Definitely the best way to spend a spring break... I'm also going on a cruise though so yeah it will be good times indeed. Start prepping for the cage now!Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

Hope you feel better. Glad to hear that you are not a bandwagoner as far as sports fans go. This season will definitely be a test for both of us, lol.

Thanks for the ride along babe. Always great to have such a wonderful person as yourself along
No. I'm doing the recomp simply for me. It's a few weeks of this and then the start of another cut (~18 weeks) to hopefully find a show at the start of the year sometime.
Haha thanks Sean. I actually forgot my photobucket account info so whenever I set things up or finally "hack" back into my old account I'll post a few. He's the best.
Haha definitely can't go wrong. We are going to Grand Cayman Islands and then over to Cozumel. Should be a good time...
Haha it's never too early to get ready for the CAGE!!!
Thanks IF. I woke up yesterday and today feeling better no more sore throat just a little congested. I'm stocking up on Vit C as well to help out. Yeah I've never been big on bandwagons.... So far so good I'm hoping to see a lot of improvement this season.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

Target Group: Chest/Delts
Performed in: ~60 minutes
Sets x Reps (Weight, if listed)
BB Bench Press: 2 Warmup Sets; 2x10 (275) ...DOMINATED this with no problems...moving up next time...
Incline DB Flyes: 2x10 ...got a really good stretch and moved up in weight...
Decline BB Press: Warmup; 2x10 ...just kept it around the 240 mark...felt good chest was full and tight.
SM Military Press: Warmup; 2x10 ...slowly working these back into the swing of things...felt good
DB Shoulder Press: 2x10 ...damn I haven't done these in awhile...they felt really good though on my delts.
DB Side Laterals: 2x10 ...pumping up the blood...
Thoughts
-I listed weights... keep in mind these are all just starting points
-Started my new routine today. Focusing on strength/recomping. My diet was great yesterday and stayed on track. I can already tell a difference in things just from the one day. I'm also loving this split... it's basically 4 days a week of training... I'll prob make it 5 and just do something like abs/forearms/calves on a day. No cardio.
-The day of rest did me good as I woke up feeling better than I did the day before (i.e. no sore throat, congestion wasn't as bad, and so forth). Sometimes it pays to just listen to your body.
-Stocking up on eggs, oats, chicken, and sweet potatoes today. Yeah buddy.
-I sat in the sauna post workout for around 12 minutes... felt really good and relaxing. It's getting colder around here....Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

I totally get it! Sometimes I think I'd be better off without a journal period just cause I am always doing things in a way so that I can type it out...like I wish I could sometimes just do random and off the wall things I just dont know how I'd log it!
The only thing is, I cant tell if you are pyramiding up or down or doing straight sets or what not so it makes it kinda hard to comment on your training...

Haha thanks. I listed a few weights for you today just to give you an idea of where I'm at now... keep in mind my strength is coming back and I'm also working back up to where I was on squats/legs as I'm building back from a TFL injury.
I always move UP in the weights or I do straight sets. If I move up, I generally say increased each set or somethign to that effect. If I'm dropsetting or something like that generally I gradually pyramid down though.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

Great day killer.
I think in all my time following your log this is the first time I have seen you post the weights you used, a day for the history books .
I have to run to the grocery store after I go lift here, so that means I'll probably come back with more food then I really need. A boy needs to eat and grow though .

Thanks A. Felt good in there today... strength is coming back.
I've posted 'em before but not in a LOOOOONG time just gave an idea of where I was since a few have been requesting it.
Haha I hear ya on the food... I've got most of my stuff covered, just getting a few things to finish up and round it out for the next week or so.
I don't start Fall Break till Thursday... so there will be lots of resting/sleep/napping Prolly watching a lot of horror movies too...
I understand being busy trust me. Thanks for stopping by though
Yeah I've gone to quite a few games--it's actually on my bucket list to go to every NFL, MLB, Nascar stadium/track.
My sinuses are ALWAYS terrible... I'm constantly sniffing or struggling for air haha... I hate stuff like that or a cough that don't go away... I've been loading the nyquil at night though and so far so good...
Yeah I felt good in there with the weight and just pounded it out without a problem. A guy watching me said I made it look way too easy.
I'll be using this routine for a few weeks and working on getting strength/recomp going...
Thanks Sean. Yeah he is a great dog... Santa may be getting him a new bed for Christmas His paws are HUGE... that's the one thing everyone always notices... he's gonna be a big boy.
I'm ready for the 295...Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative
