I weight around 168, i take 60 grams of protein for breakfast, 40 to 50 at lunch, and 60 for dinner. That's about 160 grams of protein for a whole day
breakfast: 60
lunch: 40
dinner: 60
total: 160
I cannot take any more protein than that, coz i gotta leave room for carbohydrates, like apples, brocoli, carbs are necessary for energy and well being

"It is nature that sets off in one class those who are chiefly intellectual, in another those who are marked by muscular strength and temperament, and in a third those who are distinguished in neither one way or the other, but show only mediocrity. The last-named represents the great majority." -The Antichrist, Sect 57

Neither. You shouldn't be cutting your proteins at all. Your caloric deficit should be coming for either carbohydrates or fat. I would recommend the deficit come primarily from carbohydrates, but cycling this is better if you continue to weight train.
If you plan to weight train during your cut and cut back your carbohydrate intake, you should load every 3-4 days for glycogen replenishment. I don't know where you got the idea to cut back on proteins, but I wouldn't recommend it.
