I just saw the sneak preview last night. EXCELLENT movie. It sucks Keith Ledger is dead because he was an awesome joker.

Excellent film, half way through I thought the excitement could only die down from there but it just kept going, tiny bit long winded I think but overall fantastic imo
from the trailers the joker looked badass but he was way more badass in the movie, second only to the batman

Oh man was he baddass. He's just plain...insane, and that thing with his mouth it just added that little bit more to his "off the chain" image. I liked how he was a hopeless fighter but a deadly killer, ya know? like how batman could just beat him down and he was laughing like a girl, but didn't care and then the next minute...could just gun-down anyone he wanted.

oh hell yeah. not to say that Nicholson's performance was bad. he is a great actor. but Ledger is the best joker. the joker isnt just a mass murderer dressed as a clown. he escaped from a asylum. he is more like a philosophical schizo on crack. and Ledger portrayed that perfectly.
im sad that Ledger died. not becasue another human is dead, or casue i liked him as an actor. im said mainly becasue now he cant star in any more batman films.

haha the pencil gag was some of the funniest **** i have ever seen...the joker was amazing at predicting the future actions of people. Granted it was a movie but it definitely made you realize just how predictable people really are sometimes...if you can get in someones head you can guide them in any direction you want...exactly what ledger did!

Yeah, awesome movie, but like you said a tad long winded.
I disagree about the Joker. I think batman was second only to him. The Joker was the best character IMO.

I was also surprised at how well Aaron Eckhart pulled off Harvey Dent/Two-Face
