Purple Wraath gives me more than just tingles....
Oh my god I feel like I want to rip off my clothes and scratch my skin off for about 30min after I drink this stuff- does anyone else get this or can someone explain it because it is driving me crazy. I know the tub says you may experience 'some tingling sensation' but they make it sound like that is a good thing - the 'tingling' I feel is not good. I only have one scoop and drink it pre workout. I've only just opened the tub so will it go away after my body gets used to it?
Any help much appreciated thanks guys

HAHAHA this will go away after a while [most people] you'll get desensitized. This is from the beta-alanine.

Im the same way. Its like severe tingling, especially in my eyebrows, head, lips face, and back.

I drink 3 litres of water a day. Could it be that the lack of carbs in my system (keto diet) make me feel this more than usual because I don't enjoy this at all, how can I work out when I just want to itch all over lol I don't want to drop any weights on my head just because I need to scratch!!

Try drinking it during. It'll be more beneficial that way and I'd say the tingling would become less since you're not getting the whole amount in just 1 hit.

hmm
I get the same, but mine is usually accompanied by some redness of my face and neck. Usually forehead and neck is more pronounced. Also, my eyes are a bit itchy, but for some strange reason I like that too... (no creepy/no S and M)

Very good point. Drink PW during your workout and it will be more beneficial/get last tingles.

it is a EAA supplement with beta-alanine and citruilline malate and it is made to help aid in recovery and endurance in weight training and cardio and the "tingling" is a minor commom harmless side effect caused by the beta-alanine and nobody said it causes redness because it does not

Maybe try using some more water with your scoop of Purple Wraath and gradually sipping it pre/during your workout so that the Beta-Alanine get's into your system slower not giving you as bad of a tingling feeling... What I'd do is put that one scoop of Purple Wraath in a 1-2 liter jug of water and just sip throughout workout

Nothing to do with keto, I've been using PW on keto for a while and never experienced this

The studies on beta-alanine suggested not to take more than 10 mg per kilogram of bodyweight at a time (which is about 5 mg/lb) if you want to avoid that side effect. Some people might be more sensitive to it than others, but in your case it's probably due to your (low) weight compared to the amount of BA in Purple Wrath.

You could try a smaller scoop with more water and work your way up. Definately drink it during your workouts. I mix 1 scoop with 32ozs of water. I only get the tingling in my hands and arms.

Funny, i take 2 scoops to make sure i still get the tingles.. i love the feeling, as it gradually comes on while i workout it gives me extra energy..could be mental but i'll take it!

Yeah i got the same feeling when i first tried it. I now take 2 scoops or 1 and 1/2 with about 24ounces of water. I usually try and drink half on the way to the gym or a little bit b4 that. Then i drink the other half during the workout,while adding more water to it. That usually helps with the tingles, I still feel it, but not in a annoying way like b4.
