I am hungry
Am I eating enough to gain muscle? I have a difficult time eating more than 4 oz of protein at a time and I also have a very sensitive stomach so I haven't been able to keep down any protein supplements. Any suggestions?
6:30- 4 egg whites, 1 piece of whole wheat breat, 1 tsp sugar free jelly
9:00- 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/4 cup can peaches
12:00, 4 oz baked chicken, 1/2 cup rice, 1/2 cup broccoli, and salsa
3:30, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/4 cup strawberries
6:30: 4 oz lean ground turkey, 1/2 cup whole wheat noodles, with pasta sauce
I drink 10 oz of water a day. Due to my stomach issues I don't take any supplements and by late afternoon, my energy is very low (and I can barely keep from eating junk carbs).
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

How many calories is this? It seems like very little (especially for breakfast- that can't be more than 200 calories.)

Because of my stomach issues, I can't tolerate any red meat, and I can barely handle any fat. Sometimes I will cook with olive oil and sometimes I will have cheese but other than that, my body rejects fat. It is a constant battle.
I was told by a trainer to stay off the whole eggs since I was eating them every day.
I am not sure about the calories, although I take a look at what I am eating. It is not enough. I guess I am just unclear on the carb/protein ratios.
Thank you for your responses.

He probably means the former, but the real answer is both. Just in moderation. No offense but I have a hard time believing your body rejects ALL fats.
If that is honestly the case, you should go to a doctor.

No offense taken. I have been to the doctor before, I have always been this way. Not all fats, just most. I have to really watch what I eat, can only go to a few restaurants, etc. I don't really mind, just want to fuel my body properly. I will add a little fat daily to my diet and see what happens. Thank you for your responses.

By fats he means like add some peanut butter or nuts to the cottage cheese. Maybe add some cheese to things. Your two snacks could use some more calories

I have a feeling this is mostly in your head and you'd be fine if you would just eat normal food and not this egg white stuff....

Go back to your sugar free jello.
I didn't say or think she has an ED....but hypocrondriac traits are common when it comes to food allergies.

I'll enjoy my sugar free jello, thank you very much. my local Publix doesn't even bring my favorite flavor (lime) in normal sugar anyway.

Get at least 15% of your calories from fats or else you'll be less healthy and look worse due to bad hormonal problems. Not to mention your gall bladder solidfying without fat to clean it out and needing surgery.

i do mean that, but also both, i think being well rounded is better than worrying about how much of each fat you get.

I don't mind gaining weight as long as I gain muscle with it. It was suggested to try using enzymes and see if that helps with my stomach issues. Going to GNC and give it a try, and then maybe I can add a protein powder to my diet.

Now Brand has a great enzyme that you can get right here on BB.com. I take it with my 3 big meals of the day...but I'm French, my stomach can handle most anything fatty.
