Sanity Check...Spending $1000
Im buying a Rack, Bench and Weights. I've checked craigslist and there is nothing for the rack I want, and nothing for a halfway decent bench and the same with weights.
So, I have to buy new. Tell me what you think. I like the fact that I dont have to pay shipping with these guys. Let me know if there is a better deal elsewhere or if I picked shotty equipment.

Body Solid Bench

USA Sport 300lbs Weights and 7' bar

I assume I should get a short bar and two small bars as well.

I would look at the Powertec rack available for sale on this site. It's cheaper and I believe you can use coupon codes for BB purchases. Do a search on this forum for those codes.
For the weight set, I would look at your nearest sporting goods store. That will help eliminate the cost of shipping.
Good Luck!!

good thing you did a sanity check cause ur wasting a ****load of money!
buy the rack from BB.com for 315 dollars.
buy the 300 lb. olympic weight set from yoru local store for $150 or less.
buy the bench off craigslist or i guess you can order that one online.
That comes at to at the most $700.
ta da you just saved 300 bucks.

I agree, you can get these same items for a lot less if you look around online.
Get the weight set from a local sporting goods store. Or even Sears.

One warning for you, don't get that bench if you are getting the lat attachment for the rack. It should be perfectly fine for inclines and seated shoulder press, but only if you can put the feet of the bench out the back of the rack straddling the rear support bar (i.e.-no lat attachment in your way). I have this bench and the Lamar rack (more room than powertec) and it is a tight fit.

Thanks everyone. I dont need the lat attachment, so the bench should be fine. Like I said, there are no benches on craigslist. I will check bb for the rack, which is PowerTec and a local store for the weights. Thanks a ton!

So, I'm going to go with the following, however, is this Rack the same as the one on PowerTec's site currently? Does the bench below come with the leg attachment?

Should be the exact same model with the exception of maybe the color, the bench does not come with the leg attachment.
