Pulling harness question
I'm not sure if I should post this here or in the equipment thread, but do any of the strongman trainees have a suggestion for a pulling harness? Mine broke awhile ago, and I would like to get a new one that isn't crazy expensive. I just use it for my own personal training, I don't compete. Thanks for your time.

www.steelsled.com has a heavy duty pulling harness listed on their accessories page.
Goto www.steelsled.com scroll down the right side and click on the orange heavy duty pulling harness, which will take you to the site where you can buy it.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, but that looks EXACTLY like a deer dragging harness for hunters to drag animals out of the woods (I assume that's why its orange as well). I bought one on ebay for 1.99ish plus some shipping. Broke on the second pull of the weight sled with only 4 plates on it.
Plus there is too many steelsled posts that make it look like spam. I appreciate it if you are trying to help, but Im looking for something a little more serious.

Thanks adm, I think Ill go with them. Can someone check to make sure I have the sizing right. It says something like size Medium 221 - 300 lbs, Small 220 lbs and less. I'm 6'5, 260, so that makes me a medium? I called but they aren't manning the phones on Saturdays.
Just wanted to check since I havent been a medium since the 5th grade.

that probably means "medium strongman", not the same as t-shirt size, ya know?

I just received the '2 for 1' APT harnesses. Appear to be very well built and strong. Pretty comfortable as well - I like the wide shoulder straps. We are towing some cars around and they are working just fine.

APT rules, but if you can't afford that harness, you can make one with a big, truck tow strap. I cut a big strap into lengths, then made loops with the lengths and fastened the ends together with short bolts with big washers cranked down tight, then duct-taped over the joints to keep anything from poking the guy wearing it.
