    Question Am I ready for a Competition?(Pictures)

    I'm lookin to do a competition in october. I'm 17, and this would be my first one. i'm in my bulking stage and right now I weigh 170. I was planning on cutting down in september

    honestly, alot of people over estimate what it takes to go into a comp. Just like any other sport theres differnt levels of competaive "play". so Yes just continue building on that base but I wouldn't wait till september. Take around 3 months to cut (the slower you burn fat the less muscle you lose). You want to be ready to compete 2 weeks out so you can just cruise in.

    the reason you shoot for two weeks is so that if something isnt going right you have a little bit of time to make final corrections!

    yeah im not too sure about legs haha I'm trying to tan them a lot right now. They are bulky but i'm not sure how to define my legs

    just put more oil on your legs after you tan them, that should magnify them. That second picture is a defintite pose if you do decide to compete. The first one was average at best and the third was good. But the second picture was ideal. I say that you should go for it.

    Leg press and Leg extensions helped me get good quad separation. Maybe it's because I'm skinny-ish and because I play a lot of soccer, I don't know.

    I'd have to say you're definatly ready to compete. I haven't done it, haha so you might not want to put too much weight into what I say...But I don't think it would be too early for you at all. Cutting is definatly really rewarding. And I think that planning to step on stage would be great motivation for you to push your training & diet even further! Your upper body looks solid bro, and you're already pretty lean.
