stop wearing mid calf black socks to the gym, you look like a douchebag
This is one of the biggest tips I can give teen bodybuilders today. I've been seeing a nasty trend lately in the gym for you youngsters to wear these black socks pulled up to your mid calf. Alone, it looks like you're trying to pretend to be some 80 year old guy -- someone completely out of whack with fashion sense. But you guys don't stop there. No, you decide to wear them with completely clashing multi colored shoes -- Sometimes even sandals of all things -- clashing colored shorts made from shiney material and you top off the fashion nightmare with a baseball cap resting on your head with its brim at a 45 degree angle from being straight.
This entire getup makes you look like a complete freaking douchebag. Please stop it. Be sensible and go back to white ankle socks. It's not like any of you are deadlifting anyways where you could possibly use the shin protection excuse, even though the older and wiser people would see right through that charade and know you're doing it cause you're a douche.
This goes for girls also. Cut the ****.
Thanks.

I sometimes wear half calf socks to protect my shins from getting shredded by deadlift. That ok?

I wear mid black socks almost everytime I play a sport or when i workout. mostly cause I have a large quantity of them in my drawers. But how can you even begin to rag on them just because a couple of douchebags you saw at your gym were wearing them.

It's the gym bro, people will dress how people will dress. Maybe they like those socks. Although I will agree that the cocked hat is a douchey look and so is getting yourself all prepped up for the gym.
