Yup, I think most are only about 2 carbs per serving. Even the "low carb diet" powdered shakes in a can are 2g. Dunno about the fiber content though.
Keep in mind: If you are talking whey, which is basicly only of real value after a workout, people normaly dont count carbs immediatly after a workout.
Word on the street (street meaning every forum on the web) is that whey is so quicky absorbed that it is best after a workout to ride the insulin spike.
Other proteins like casin are best the rest of the day so they can be absorbed slowly. Expecialy at night when you are in a state of fasting, a slow absorbtion protein is best. You can mix it with whole milk or add some flax oil it to it because the fat causes it to be absorbed even slower.
