ideal macros for fat loss

I'm conflicted between the 40/30/30 (c/p/f) split and a 33/33/33 split for fat loss.
Any ideas/suggestions??
I'm not a big fan of the 40/40/20 (c/p/f) split because it leaves me with very little healthy fat.

Everyone's body works differently, so you need to try it and see what works. Give it a few weeks on one, then a few on the other and write everything down.

As Erin said, it depends on you. I prefer (and my body reacts best to) a low carb diet. My macros are 45p-45p-10c on days when I don't have soccer or I'm not training twice.

If you are eating sufficient calories, even 40/40/20 gives you enough healthy fats. As for what works for you, only trying different variations will give you the answer. Some people need lower carbs, some need lower fats. I would not however drop the protein. If anything up the protein to make up for the calorie loss when you lower carbs or fat.

I suspect you just don't want to give up your healthy fats That's ok too. You can still lose fat even if a lower fat macro would give you better results. It just may take longer or you may need to lower the cals a bit.

Please don't say you're eating less than 1500 calories
