Got some nice compliments today from a nice 24 Y.O.
just throwing it out for all of us "old dudes" so we dont give up, lol.
At work today I got several nice compliments from a nice young lady. Im 41 as of like 8 days ago and she is 24. She's pretty fly IMO.
I complimented her first telling her that I had heard all about the "new girl" at work and that us guys always talk when there is a nice looking new girl out there etc. We exchanged several nice compliments.
I never told her exactly how old I was, lol. She was like "well you look like you might be in your late twenties or MAYBE 30s at the most". I joked like "well, it IS sort of dark up here" (not a brightly light up part of the plant). She was like "well u look good no matter how old you are". That was reiterated in several different ways. She asked me if I played sports and she said I looked like I did.
I was like "if I knew YOU were up here id have asked to be sent up here way before now" and then later she was like "well I hope u get to come back up here again".
Lots of nice smiling back and forth. I had her cracking up laughing. Good fun..2 bad we cant get that EVERY day! I hope I never get to old or "too cool" to enjoy some nice flirting.

Wipe that smile off your face and get back to work!
Good for you!

I am glad you are 'smiling' again.

Well, your words just spelled a lifetime of regret in my book.
But, I am odd.

Hmmm... I tend to be guided more by my values and morals... which makes for too much conviction and regret.
It does keep me in line though, because without it... this girl would be TROUBLE!

I hear you man, but there are plenty of bangable women out there who don't work at the same company that I do. I don't like the people I work with knowing my business. This isn't to say I haven't done this in the past, but as I've worked my way up the ladder, I'm a little more cautious about indulging. I have no regrets.

Good for you. I had a compliment from a former coworker the other day.
I saw here and her husband shopping in the produce department. She gave me the regular compliments on my progress at looking thinner (even though weight has leveled and increased), but gave the best compliment when an other of the long time coworkers came by. As the other person was looking at the produce in there basket the first person said "We want to look like Jeff."
LOL.
Jeff.

LOL, totally different line-up, but yesterday was my crew change for me, and I was at the airport on my way home with 2 of the guys I work with... When we got to the bar at the airport the bartender in the Delta Crown room came up, and she took one of my co-workers orders (who's 7 years younger than me, and ordered a jack and coke), then took my order, which was just a miller light.. well she carded me! Got a darn nice ego boost, and a good laugh out of that.. my co-worker was quite indignant.

Should have pointed out you are exactly twice her age. Then you should have pointed out that from next year on she will more than half your age and continue catching up till death, at which point your even!!
