How many of you DON'T like creatine?
I personally don't care for creatine. It doesn't build muscle directly and bloats most people, although it does help to lift more and longer and thus produce results I don't see the point. I am in no way saying that people shouldn't take it or are dumb to take it, I just wonder how many other people share my thoughts being how creatine seems to be THE supplement in the supplement industry. This all came about account I see where if you buy InfiniteLabs Juggernaut they will donate $5 to the troops which is awesome. But it's creatine/no blend mostly and thus am still hesitant.
*AGAIN, not bashing or criticizing, just wondering...

I like using creatine. Creatine may not appear to be as strong as some of these new fangled supplements on the market today so to many it may seem weak or pointless. The problem with that logic is that many people forget that creatine is one of a very select few of supplements that have real scientific research backing it up. Plus there are very few side effects, especially when compared to some of the new supplements these days (joint pain, acne, hairloss, etc)

I can't see the difference either. I guess I would be the "non-responder" cuz it doesn't matter, I can't lift anymore weight than normal while on it...plus, the bloating is NOT one of the side effects I care for.

It works for some and doesn't for others. I don't use any creatine products, but I've tried many and they have all failed =/. Even so I havent given up and will try another kind sooner or later. Hopefully since there are many different kinds one of them will work.

I have tried many types and brands of creatine and have seen results with all of them. Maybe not results I wanted but results none the less. It did make me look bigger, but it seems to be alot of water retention. It took away from my definition but did make me look bigger. As far as strength or endurance I never felt a thing.

ive lost all faith in creatine, i tried so many kinds, from pure mono to sizeOn to green mag to cell mass....it just doesnt do anything for me, and ive actually made better gains while cycling off creatine, not saying that creatine is hindering my gains, but i definitely dont benefit from it.

i do respond. i haven't used it for over a month now, but i was taking it 3 times a day for a total of 6 grams. you have to take it consistently to gain the muscle building, endurance, and strength benefits from it IMO. great stuff. i plan to take it again and keep doing cycles by the month. on for 1-2 months, off for 1-2 months, and so on.

guise that slight bloat helps you grow... just keep in mind that it's temporary and it shouldn't bother you at all

It helps me push more. I don't bloat much while on creatine. I find I look fuller but not in a fat way

Amazing all the people that come out of the woodwork when someone says something.
While we're at it. I haven't noticed anything with beta-alanine.

My body doesn't seem to respond much to it. That being said, I get 6-9g a day from Cyto Gainer.

A good amount of people who feel that they are non-responders simply aren't mixing the creatine correctly. It needs to be mixed in warm/borderline hot water in order for the creatine to be fully dissolved into the liquid. When you mix it in cold water (i.e. just throw it in with your protein shake, etc.) the majority of the powder goes to waste. Also, because of this, creatine in capsule form is virtually useless.
That being said, some people legitimately are non-responders and that could be the case. It just couldn't hurt to exhaust all your options before ruling it out.

usually i'll go 2-3 months on, 4-6 weeks off. trust me you'll know when it's time to get back on creatine because with me everything i've gained slowly starts waving bye bye and that's around the 6 week off mark.
