Sharp pain doing bench dips?

I had this happen a few weeks ago and thought I might have a strained something so I put off doing dips for a few weeks. Well, this morning when I tried them again I was fine until my third set where the pain came back slightly and I stopped immediately...

The pain stretches from my triceps down to my arm pit and it's somewhat paralyzing. This is happening only on my right arm...

You all think this might just be fatigue since I'm at the end of my workout or an actual injury? I can do tricep pushdowns and seated presses just fine and dont feel any pain... not sure what the deal is.

thanks in advance

Rotator cuff problems have been know to radiate pain down the arms.

Dips have been known to cause rotator cuff problems.

You may want to get that arm checked out by an ortho.

It may be nothing or it may be the start of something so be safe and get it examined.

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem.

Definitely get it checked. Hold off doing dips in the meantime or you could injure yourself further. Maybe replace with decline bench if your arm feels ok.
