Im 5ft6, 144 pounds
I want to start loading creatine, is 20g a day for 5 days too much?
I was going to do 20g a day for 5 days then do 3-5g a day for a few months, is this the correct way?
(and please dont give me the spill about how creatine loading is not necessary - i have already researched this topic and decided to creatine load)
thanks.

Loading isn't rea... oh, right.
Yes, 20g per day will work; I'd recommend dividing that into 4 doses of 5g throughout the day, as 20g all at once probably wouldn't absorb well and would likely cause some significant digestive discomfort. I believe that loading protocol (20g/day in 4 divided doses) is actually the commonly-used protocol in most of the historical studies on creatine use.
Once you're saturated, 3g per day is more than sufficient to maintain it, particularly if you separate creatine intake from caffeine intake by a bit. The 3-5g range is quite comfortable and leaves room for missing days here and there. I'd stick to 5g per day for the first extra week, as I'm not sure that loading really works all that well in getting you fully saturated that fast.
Can't really screw it up, though--as long as you're doing 3g+ per day, you'll get saturated sooner or later.[Log] Prime Nutrition Stack: bbcom.me/1Acr9Pt

It all depends on the product. I like CON-CRETE or Krealkalyn more because there is no loading time. With ordinary creatine the loading phase is often 5 G per serving, 4-5 times a day for 5 days and then you can go down to tops 5 G. I would go for 5 g a day. Read the label! Spread the doses, because other wise your stomache aint gonna feel to well
off topic, for how long have u been lifting? I usually find use for creatine when I get stuck at a level and need an extra boost. Whats your situation?

Make sure you get your kidney enzyme levels tested before taking creatine. Creatinine kinase specifically. If you have any sort of unknown kidney issues that is the last thing you want to be putting into your body. It's a quick and easy test you can do at a walk in clinic.
