Legs are knackered.

I've been doing cardio on an exercise bike now for about 9 months. In the last couple of weeks i've been pushing a lot harder than usual. I haven't done any more exercise in the last 3 days because my legs are pretty much jelly and my right knee has stiffened up.

The weakness is mainly in my thighs. There is no pain other than the slight ache in my right knee but I find that when I stand up my legs shake slightly and I have to sit down again... I used to be 364 pounds and am still in the process of losing weight, so I want to get back to exercise as soon as possible to carry on losing weight.

What type of things should I be doing to aid recovery?

Cheers.
