Question Is Lactaid better than Regular (Cows) Milk?

I was watching "The Fit Show" (Episode 25/Stan McQuay)... and when they did a close up of his fridge, there was a nice big carton of Lactaid.

I've read a number of articles talking about lactose intolerance and how even the slightest bit of lactose intolerance can lead to cortisol release (which is very bad apparently).

Is Lactaid better than Regular (Cows) Milk? Yes or No, and why?

It's better if you're lactose intolerant. I would have to see peer reviewed studies regarding the cortisol release in order to even consider it being true.

ya basically wut scott said. If your lactose intolerant than ofc lactaid is going to be better for you lol, but if not I think it taste like crap, and don't see any reason to take it unless your intolerant

Yeah... Theoretically I could see how that conclusion could be drawn but that definitive "link" is new one to me ... show me the data ... I could see how stressing out over massive GI distress could elevate it

If you can handle regular milk, then I don't think it matters. Regular milk makes me fart like crazy, so I buy lactose free.
    Starting weight: 225lbs (January 2007)

Stuck at ~10-11% BF for 2 months. Starting carb cycling on June 1st to try to break through that plateau.

    Or buy the lactase pills.

Milk makes me fart too, but I don't care.

According to your signature, we know why you don't care lol.

Anyhow, I thought Lactaid had NO Lactose, all it has is Lacase in it.

What are some okay lactose free milk brands?
