I missed UFC 86 because of Staph
On June 30th I notice I have this zit when I get out of the shower, on my face. It looked like a zit that had already been popped. I thought it was from rubbing the towel on it or whatever, no big deal.
So as the night wears on I notice this "zit" is a litte sore. Then it grows a little buddy beside it, that also mysteriously looks like a popped zit, yet I haven't touched either of them. Then I remeber this was where I had a mat burn for about a week. I start to put two and two together and figure it might be staph.
I wake up the next day and the **** looks pretty nasty. I go to the doc first thing and he verifies it is staph and perscribes some antibiotics.
The **** gets nastier over the next couple days, antibiotics ain't doin' ****. I come down with flu like symtoms, chills, aches, all that, and my face looks terrible. Then another spot comes up on the other side of my face. Later on that day, I get one that pops up on my fcking eyelid !!
So I'm trying to wait until the beginning of the week to go back to the doc, but the wife is thinking I'm dying and ****, so I end up going to the emergency room.
They give me a shot in the ass and another scrip for antibiotics. Then they ask if I need anything for pain. Apparently lortabs help staph, lol. I don't know about that, but I damn sure ain't turnin none down.
So, I couldn't go out and eat wings and watch UFC 86 because I felt like ****, looked like ****, and ended up in the emergency room.
From what I've gathered I didn't miss much though.
Cliffs
-Got staph on face, went to doctor
-Staph got worse and spread to my eyelid, also felt terrible
-Went to emergency room, got shot in ass and lortab
-Missed UFC 86 and eating hot wings.
