    5 or 8?

He guys, Im aiming for size compared to strength, so I have qestion about benchpess. I gain stength and add weight to my benchquicker when I do 5 reps with a heavier weigt than I do when I do 8 reps with a lighter weight. I know the 8 res ould be better for size but I just dont progres near as fast as compared to doing 5 reps. Which one would you suggest? Thanks in advance

You have to mix them up. Do 2 sets heavy @ss weight for your 5 reps. Drop the weight and 2 sets 8-12 hypertrophy range. Next workout you should be able to slap on more weight. You'll be hitting both slow/fast twitch fibers.
