What's the deal with this fish oil?

My mom brought home some of this stuff, and it contains a ****load of EPA and DHA--more than I've ever seen in 2 tablets.

The brand is Heart Health. Here's what the label looks like:

So..900 mg EPA and 600 mg DHA in two tablets. What worries me is that these two amounts don't equal up to the total of 3000 mg of "fish oil". Does that mean there's a bunch of nasty filler oils in them?
According to http://www.squidoo.com/fish_oil, good fish oil should have EPA + DHA = total oils.

So is this a good product?
    Thanks

Well, as said on the bottle. It is 50% purity only. I'm not sure what else is in there. Yeah, I would assume some filler oils.

i don't think any fish oils make up the total ammount...

i use nature made fish oil 1200mg...

    fish oil concentrate 2400 mg..
epa, dha and other omega-3 = 720 mg.... so ...

so if your lable makes it's claims it looks like a pretty great product...

OK thanks. The source is sardines and anchovies, which seem to be among the "acceptable" type of fish.

So is this fish oil superior due to its sheer dosage of EPA and DHA? Or are there tons of other factors involved?
