**posted this in general nutrition too but wanted womens opinions and feedback
Because of my work schedule and location (in a hospital) I have a hard time finding time to eat and things to eat in the morning between breakfast and lunch. Im getting tired of eating protein bars which is the easiest, and i want to cut them out of my diet anyway. I have no way to refridgerate or heat up anything. No cups or bowls or utensils.
Suggestions? What are your favorite snacks/meals that dont require anything?
today i had a ziploc bag with 1/2c fiber one cereal, 1/2 oz almonds, and a 1/4 of one of my protein bars.

I work in a clinic and grab the following snacks throughout the day:
1. NF Fromage blanc / cottage cheese with 2 tablespoons oats mixed in (sweeten with Splenda etc if necessary)
2. protein shake and half an orange
3. bake my own protein pancakes or low carb cookies and munch on them whilst protein is a shake or a fromage blanc
4. blend NF cottage cheese with 100% fruit juice / 100% fruit smoothie (no added sugar etc) and store in a protein shaker
5. peanut butter sandwich with fromage blanc or protein powder
6. chicken breast sandwich
7. tuna sandwich
8. protein porridge (make it up at home and eat it cold at work)
I always keep a plastic cutlery set at work and store everything in plastic bags or tupperware - it's become a trademark...but obviously in this forum it's the norm!
I don't have access to a fridge but the cottage cheese/fromage blanc keeps fine as long as you eat it within the course of the day - even in the afternoon or just before I leave to go to the gym."Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength"
