    Thumbs up Netflix exclusive series: Lilyhammer starring Steven Van Zandt





    Anybody checked it out yet? We've seen 3 of the 8 episodes and we were hooked after the first one. I always loved Steven Van Zandt on The Sopranos as Silvio, so this role seems like a natural carry-over from his HBO days. Interesting to see Van Zandt in a true leading role, even my wife who never got into The Sopranos really likes it so far.

    Best part is, there's no waiting for weekly episodes - all 8 are available for immediate viewing.

    The girlfriend and I started watching this over the weekend. After the first episode I wasn't 100% sold but the more we watched the more we liked it. I think we have 2-3 episodes left. Steven Van Zandt is great in the main role plus I love the business model of Netflix having exclusive content and releasing a whole season at once. They are supposed to be doing the same with a new season of Arrested Development and a new Kevin Spacey show called House of Cards.

    I'm going to bump this thread because I just got Netflix today and am considering watching this tonight. Anyone else think it looks good? I liked the trailer.
