Question Should you take breaks from high-calorie dieting?

I have been consuming around 2500 - 3000 calories per day for the past couple years. I typically take in about 250 grams of protein per day. Is it bad for my body to constantly be taking in these high amounts? It just dawned on me yesterday that I've probably been putting a lot of stress on my digestive system for the past couple years and I haven't bothered to give my digestive system any breaks. Does anyone else wonder this same thing?

At your age, height and weight I don't think that's an excessive amount of calories at all. If fat gain is not accumulating I think you're fine as is.
