What's the truth about CLA?
I've read alot about CLA.
Half the things I read say it is totally safe to use.
Half the things I read say it is not safe to use.
I have 2 questions for people who have taken CLA.
First, how well does it work?
Second, have you experienced any side effects?

I think CLA, if anything, is just another healthy fat that can be added to your diet. However, fish oil, olive oil, etc... do the job fine.
I do recall people saying that CLA, at really high dosages, can help minimize fat gains.....dont know though.

I've been taking CLA Plus with Clarinol now for a couple of months. I have noticed no side effects. I taken CLA before and have never had any sides. As for for gains, fat loss and LBM gains are consistant weekly. I'm sure the rest of my regimnet has a hand in that as well, but I've found no harm in taking it so I just keep doing so.

Several GNC employees and some gym rats have told me the body can take max per day is 5000mg. They recommended to just take 4000mg. Most bottles will tell you to take 2000 to 3000mg per day.
So i'm taking 4000mg per day. It says CLA's do more than just stimulate fat loss, so it sounds healthy to take. I stacked it last month with Lipo 6. Now i'm just taking it by itself.

In humans, the verdict is still out, but in post-menopausal women there is pretty significant evidence that indicates benefit.
There is clear benefit in rats.
I'm currently involved with research at OSU with regard to its efficacy in untreated newly diagnosed DMII.
