Tweaked my knee the day before vacation!

I have no idea what I did to my knee...I didn't even hurt it working out!

Basically the pain on the outside of my left knee, towards the top of the knee-cap...the upper corner of my knee if that makes any sense.

I can walk fine, absolutely no pain, I can do quad extensions with no pain. But if I squat down more than about 25-30 degrees I get this terrible pain.

Any ideas as to what it could be? I'm leaving for the Bahamas tomorrow morning and I'd really like to know what I did/if It can heal before I leave (doubtful, right?)

    Thanks!

P.S. I just started icing it as soon as I woke up

Ice and NSAIDS (Motrin, Aleve, Advil).

The pain you're describing sounds like ITBFS (Iliotibial Band Friction Syndrome).

    Hopefully that helps!
