Oxidation is the primary cause of rancidity. I'm not sure if the luggage compartment is pressurized, I would assume so as people may carry aerosol type products. But there's always the chance the caps could burst under potential pressure changes so I would keep them in a well sealed container. It's probably best to just leave them at home and try and buy some at your destination. If they don't have a reliable source then a few weeks discontinuation shouldn't hurt.
