So people realizing that you don't need to be anal about nutrition unless you are competing, and that you can eat a cookie without feeling like you need to go do an hour of HIIT to make up for it is a bad thing?

Agreed. I would rather see some, I said some not a lot, of humor in the nutrition forum rather than seeing someone totally about to kill themselves because they had a "cheat" meal.

I actually agree with OP. It is fine to point out when people are way over the top
but i have definitely seen serious questions that are out of curiosity or for their own benefit that people unleash on them. its their lives, imo no need to flame for asking a question, let people eat how they want
im not saying this section is not full of ridiculous questions because it is and im all for pointing that out, but dont go into a thread looking to put someone down

I think everyone is just sick of the same stupid questions over and over.
IE:
Eat the yolks or just whites?
HELPPPPPP!!!! I'm my calorie limit for the day and it's only 2pm!!
Will eating carbs before bed make me fat?
40/40/20 or keto?
Blah blah blah.

But then you see posts of people asking if it's ok to eat fruit, or how much oatmeal they "should" eat, or freaking out about the GI of old fashioned versus quick minute oatmeal.

exactly, i am definitely not saying those questions are not absolutely ridiculous, cuz they are and there are plenty more of them (in fact probabally the majority)
i just feel like sometimes people go into a thread looking to criticize even when it is not necessary

exactly, its getting ridiculous.. i thought the "bodybuilding" lifestyle was to help one another not freaking put one down.. cause that really helps! its not a suprise that 90 percent of the world knows absolutely nothing about nutrition.. and not to mention i had an eating disorder a year ago, i ****ed myself up good no lie.. and people didnt put me down back then, why all of a sudden the change?.. its immature and stupid.. and when i see crap like that it only makes me think less of one.
