Question regarding Rippetoes starting strenght

ditched my earlier fancy workout routine and started Rippetoes program this week, didnt mess with default program and took days off, took 8 hrs sleep everyday (a office guy) and took meals quite well! Yet, I am having this worst fatigued days is it normal for a starter? I mean anyone else experienced the same at the beginning? Or is it just me? Is it the workout routine? or maybe some external factor?

Could be the workout since your body isn't used to the stress or it could be your diet. Make sure you have your carbs, proteins, fats and calories mapped out and make sure you get the correct amount of each at the correct times otherwise you will feel sluggish and run down. I felt really pumped during my first week and had a lot of energy.

Hey mate, to give you an idea of the breakdowns you can see what I eat and adjust as required and maybe take some tips from it about what to eat and space out your meals with:

Workout Days

Non-Workout Days
http://img440.imageshack.us/my.php?i...workoutsg4.png

Your pre and post-workout meals are VITALLY important. I would highly recommend checking out Alan Aragon's thread in the Nutrition forum (it's a sticky regarding pre and post-workout meals).

EDIT: As I'm bulking I often replace corned-beef sandwich with cups of Milk and for before bed I'll take a couple of cups of milk as that has the casein component for slow releasing protein while you sleep.
