SI Joint

I have been having back problems for the past couple months. MRI and X-Rays came back negative. The doctor thinks its the SI Joint. I am doing physical therapy and it is helping. I was wanting to know if anybody else has had this injury and if so how long it took to recover from it.

Well, being a golf pro, I battled bad lower back injuries for 3 years, I did EVERYTHING but surgery. Hopefully you can get rid of it with just the PT, but if that doesn't work you may want to try the steroid injection route which is what finally cured me, although it took about 9 of them!!!

they are only supposed to do 3 per joint, if you have surgery you can thank thoes injections if they were all in the same spot....

I had a cortisone shot last week and it has helped out a lot. I have 2 weeks of PT left, then he says I should be good to go. We will see.
