incorporate cardio into lifting?

I lift 5 days a week mon thru fri and currently have no cardio in my workout. Im training to become a firefighter so i really need to work on my endurance. Im gonna start running sprints for 20 min after my lifting. After my workout everyday i have a protein shake with creatine, but should i down the shake before i go run or just wait til im done runnin too? Because your supposed to have your creatine right after liftin? Any help would be appreciated!

Doing sprints after weight training (especially legs) will probably lead to less than steller sprint performance. You might choose to do them at another time or on the weekend, but I'll leave that for you to sort out.

Have your recovery drink at the conclusion of your combined session. Besides the discomfort of having all of that fluid pooled in your stomach, you're still exercising, so digestion will not be a top priority for the body. And what is has the potential to be used to fuel the exercise and not fuel recovery.

As long as the active agent is "unknown" some dork is still gonna be poppin' chicken beaks so he can freakin' squat!

Crank up those catecholamines, that's not chicken I smell being cooked.
