Spider veins???
Does anyone else have any issues with varicose or spider veins? I have several on my legs and they are very ugly
I am looking for something that will either help cover them or treat them, I am starting to lose weight and I don't want to wear jeans during the hot summer! Anyone have some advice?
Thanks!!!

You could try a gradual self-tanner on your legs for the spider veins. It usually covers them to the point that the only one that will notice is you. I have spider veins also, but "try" (lol)not to consider them a problem as they are just a part of being a woman. Still, I don't notice them as much with some color on my legs. Wear shorts!

Have a read:

My mate suffers from the more extreme condition, varicose veins. (DVT is a major concern for him.) The spider veining is a lesser severity condition but still treats the same way.
Hope this helps.

I have them! They get me down but really, you have to be up VERY close to see them, so the only person who really knows they are there is you*.

I HAD them. A couple visits to my docs office and then an outpatient treatment took care of all of them. My insurance covered the process. I went in for a consultation then went in for the treatment. It took a few zaps of the laser, then I went home. Within a week the veins were gone.

There are a half dozen or so different types of treatments, all aimed at controlling each level of severity & invasiveness of this hereditary ailment. A specialized clinic can typically treat the smaller spider veins in under an hour & on an outpatient basis. The thing to remember is that this is a valvular deformity disorder & it does stand a good chance of returning with age or hormonal changes(such as pregnancy).
Taking care of any spider veins may also help to prevent them from advancing into Varicose veins, the much more severe & potentially life threatening disorder.
*not everyone's spider veins develop into Varicose veins & vise versa...
