CSCS recert. question...

I am planning on taking the CSCS exam this summer and I am slightly confused regarding the recertification requirements from the CSCS website... I am thinking that each year 2.0 credits of CEUs are needed in addition to a $25 recertification fee... As far as the CEUs and specific categories, I am under the impression that each year my CPR/AED resertification would count as .5 credits... I could take 2 online quizzes for a total of 1 credit (2 x .5 each) and then do .5 credits worth of sponsored seminars/workshops (5 hours worth) and this would total the 2 credits of CEUs required... is this correct??? could anyone enlighten me if I am misunderstanding the requirements???? Thanks so much for any information you could give me, I am familiar with the CEU concept as I need to get certain numbers of CEUs each year for my work in physical therapy, it just seems that the CSCS system is slightly different and I want to make sure I understand the system completely before taking the exam... thanks bunches!

sounds right to me, I know there are restrictions on how many CEU's you can get in a specific category (online quizzes, etc.) That reminds me I have to get some CEU's before january, damn you NSCA!!!

Thanks for the reply DJM... is it fairly easy to find conferences and workshops to attend... they didn't seem to be occurring often in my area (massachusetts) when I checked the activity calender on the website... I guess I'll just have to make sure to plan well in advance each year...

Don't forget, you maybe able to claim some of your physical therpay ceu's.
