Beast Building with a Bugg...
Info:
Whats up guys, my name is Joe and I am going to be starting this log to track my progress with my newly purchased bodybugg, if your not aware of what it is you can go to www.bodybugg.com and check it out. Ive been lifting now for getting close to 18 months but have only gotten serious here within the last 6-7 so hopefully I will be able to turn things around and start putting on some serious mass.
About myself
Im a 20 year old NURSING student yeah ima MURSE....currently on summer break inbetween my 2nd and 3rd year of college. I live in the wonderful state of Michigan in a little town on the Southwest side right on the beach. I have a twin (sister) and thats about it...if you wanna know more I guess just ask haha.
Stats:
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 169lbs
bodyfat: 9.7% (taken today 7 pinches...so +/-2% accuracy)
Split
Been messing around to much lately trying new things but im gonna stick to this one...
Chest/Shoulders
Back/Traps
OFF
Arms
Legs/Calves
OFF
Cardio/Abs/Rest when I feel the need to do it.
Supplements
Scivation Xtend
Scivation VasoCharge
Ragnarok
Purple Wraath
Prolab Creatine Monohydrate
CytoSport Complete Whey
Diet
TBA once I get a few days under my belt with the bugg. Been eating 2800-3000 lately. Mostly stick to the norms, eggs, red meat, sweet potato, veggies, cottage cheese, peanut butter, chicken...same old same old.
Bodybugg is due in either later today or sometime tomorrow so along with my workout posts will also be calories expended during that day, weekly read outs and caloric intake...all advice and critiques are welcome I hope you all enjoy by journal and hopefully this bugg will help me attain my goals of becoming stronger/larger and possibly even competing in the future.

If you go to the website it explains it a little better but basically you wear it around all day on your arm and it takes various measurments (skin/body temp, etc...) and gives you a 93% accurate reading of your caloric expenditure throughout the day...therefore add 300-500 or sub 300-500 from that number to bulk or cut. Hoping it will help me add some more calories to my diet since I am hesitant too.

I wont be able to use the bugg all day today since it didnt come yesterday and I work from 9-4 (yeah im on the forums at work :-p) so im just gonna work, chest/shoulders lifting and then when i get home play around with it/set it up so I can wear it for sleep tonight and get a rough estimate of how many calories I would burn during 8 hours of sleep so tomorrow I can just plug that into how many calories I burned during the day.

You burn calories regardless what your doing even sleeping, it shuold be worn at all times, correct me if im wrong joe, but i remember Kirk (Allgenetix) and he wore is 24/7, as it tracks calories burned wherever whenever.
Believe me u burn a lot more kcal then you think. Regardless how active you are.
Medical conditions is probably why i burn so many (hyperthyroid)

I havent worn it yet but yes you are supposed to wear it 24/7 for a while but once you get an avg of what you burn while sleeping I believe you dont have to wear it at night and can just plug in the number of hours you slept and get a decent estimate.
