Gym recommendation in Tampa?

I'm going to Tampa next week for a vacation, but am also getting read for a show.

Can anyone recommend a good hard core gym nearby? (Can't stand the "health club" deal lol)

Do you know what part of Tampa? There is a relatively new LA fitness on N. Dale Mabry (1 of the main streets in Tampa), doesnt crowd up thankfully. There's a Powerhouse gym on Florida Ave, didn't read the part about hardcore ha.
