Typically, a 15 year old with a gun is a good decision.

Hey dude, That is one item you should put in a safe place or display and be proud of. Think about how many Soldiers had to die for their country in that war to make sure you and I would be safe. You got a piece of first hand history and you will thank yourself when your older and think back to when you almost sold it.

It's a Polish gun.
Either the German got it from a Polish guy he killed/found, or OP's grandma got it off a Polish guy he found.

^That's the gun, or what looks like it.^ Notice the emblem on the handle.
According to some sources (incl. Guns & Ammo magazine), WiS vz35 is one of the best handguns ever built.

Fcukin' beautiful.
I'm supposed to get my grandpa's too one day (he was in the landing party that occupied Japan after we dropped the bombs. He also came home with a Japanese officers katana and a couple other trophies. Pretty sick.)
So far he's given me a .303 Brit used in WWII, which is my primary hunting rifle, and I have yet to miss a deer with it.
EDIT: It's a 9mm VIS for those who don't know. They are basically a copy of the Colt 1911. Look at a 1911 and you'll see the similarities. Also it's not unlikely that a German soldier would be carrying one.Last edited by Steak_n_Taters; 06-19-2008 at 05:30 PM.
Don't complain about the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do.
