Overtraining doesn't happy by just going extra once. You have to consistently "overtrain" for weeks to burn out. Bona fide overtraining lands you in the hospital.
Go lift today, just don't make it a habit to have weeks where you don't give yourself a day off. You might not be able to lift as much as you did monday, but this isn't overtraining, this is your muscle being tired/broken down and not recovered from monday. Do this for a month or two and that would be overtraining."There are no OFF days, just days you don't go to the gym."
Carb-Up does NOT mean Binge and Cheat!

I dont think so. My split looks like this:
Mon: Chest/Back
Tues: shoulders/Bi's/Tri's
Wend: Legs/core
Thurs: Chest/Back
Fri: Shoulders/bi's/tri's
Been doing it this way for a few months now, all while altering my Sets/Reps/Weights every couple of weeks.
I have been getting bigger and stronger, but i am not you....so take it for what it is worth.

i think this forum has this unneccessary fear of overtraining. assuming they are fueling themselves correctly, the average member here won't even get close to it.
Rep Back 1k+ ....just sayin
"When we're in the gym, we're in this indescribable euphoria zone. It's a feeling of being on, of being completely alive and aware. If you haven't been there, then it's like trying to describe color to a person who's been blind since birth. Within this haze of pleasure and pain, there's knowledge and power, self-discipline and self-reliance."
