Guy loses over 80lbs ONLY eating McDonalds
I cannot say that I completely support it but he had the right idea of cutting calories and staying away from stuff thats packed with calories.. I only posted this in case some of you guys including myself are having a hard time losing weight especially if your on the run, watch this and you can see a few things maybe you wont feel so guilty about if you feel like hitting the drive through. Heres a link to the video and story. I do not think I can find the proper link but heres what I could copy and paste, I am sure you can do a search, it was an ABC news thing.
McDiet Takes Man From 50-Inch Waist to 36

Chris Coleson battled his weight for years, but when he had trouble sliding into a restaurant booth it boosted and fueled his desire to drop the excess pounds.
Man loses 86 pounds eating only McDonald's.
But rather than try conventional diets, which had failed him before, the then 276-pound Coleson opted for his own "realistic" solution in December: he'd only eat at McDonald's.
After six months on his McDiet, Coleson lost 80 pounds and dropped 14 pants sizes. His waist went from 50-inches to 36.
"I didn't make my goal of 185, but I've made some great lifestyle choices and I'll make that goal," the 42-year-old said on "Good Morning America today.
Supersized Slim Down
Coleson's goal was to hit 185 pounds by his wedding anniversary, which is Saturday. Today he only is five pounds short of the goal. His weight loss marks several major milestones in his life.
For the first time in seven years, Coleson said he is able to wear his wedding band.

In the article I saw posted (CNN or somesuch) there was a before and after picture.
The guy looked 20 years older and 40lbs heavier in his after picture, compaired to the before.

I don't care how much he lost..I could never willingly do that to my body. I can only imagine what his arteries look like eating that stuff everyday.
EDIT:Found out more info. This guy was eating their Salads and Wraps to the tune of 1,700 to 1,400 cals a day. So basically he was starving himself.

Man Loses Weight at McDonalds
Article says he ate twice a day.... I'd like to see a physical from before and a physical from after...
In the end, McDonalds is still highly-processed unhealthy food.

ABC News coverage:

1400 cals a day and skipping breakfast? No wonder McDonald's doesn't want this guy as a spokesman. 1 death resulting from complications on that "diet" and they'd be bankrupt.

Thats what I was thinking. He was pay $5 for a small salad with chicken like stuff on it. He could of bought a bag of salad and the Tyson pre cooked chicken ate at home and been better off. This "diet" would be like me saying I lost 50lbs eating only at Crispy Cream. Then when I gave the details I actually only sat there drinking coffie and eating napkins all day.

Did you ever watch Supersize Me? McD's about killed him. McD's has come a long way. There are even a few things on the menu that even i would eat if I had to.

A few years back I lost alot of weight eating fast food several times a week.
It would usually be a grilled chicken sandwich or salad at lunchtime with no fries or soda. And I would often bring in fronzen peas and cook those at work instead of the fries. I also brought in snacks such as almonds, fruit, and whole wheat crakers. I usually had oats or cereal for breakfast and I made my own dinner. I worked out 4-5 days a week. I lost around 67 pounds this way.
But some bad decisions led me to put it all back on. I'm a student now so I don't work full time anymore. I really don't eat much fast food at all anymore. Maybe just a few times a year.

Now that I think about it, I am almost positive this guy did this at McDonalds instead of at home to try and be the next Jared. Also, I am almost positive that McD's will not touch him with a ten foot pole because his diet is dangerous.
With that said, his diet was probably better than Jared's. Jared ate two meals a day also a 6" Turkey for lunch (280 cals) and a foot long veggie for dinner (460 cals). Anyone would lose weight only eating 740 calories a day!

what makes you think tyson precooked chicken is any better than mcdonalds chicken?
are you talking pricewise over time?
at least the grilled chicken at mcDonalds tastes like chicken. I've bought that precooked refrigerated chicken stuff before. I can get a few meals out of a bag, but it has a weird texture and specific(odd) taste to it and I could never finish a bag before I had to eventually throw it out.
but since I've learned to be a better cook, I would just rather cook my own chicken breasts whenever possible.

Fresh chicken is best and I don't even buy the Tyson stuff. All I am saying is that he could of done this at home much cheaper and not had to sit in a plastic chair and watch everyone else eat Big Macs and Quarter Pounders. If you go there because it is easier then bringing it to work or something that's one thing but if you go there just for the hell of doing it at McDonalds your stupid.

also, let me fill you in on one of McDonald's dirty little secrets. When they say 100% beef it's a stretch of the truth. The company I work for supplies McDonalds with soy protein for their beef. When I found this out I asked "I though McD's was 100% real beef" This is the answer that was given to me.
"It is 100% beef unless the protein content falls below the point were it can legally be called beef. To prevent that from happening they add our soy."
food for thought...

This is rediculous. Here goes:
300 lb. man drops to starvation calories and loses 86 lbs. = Diet Success.
110 lb. man drops to starvation calories and loses 20 lbs. = Eating Disorder.
I think the media should be more consistent with its opinions on weight loss. An eating disorder is an eating disorder whether you're overweight or not. From the ABC article, I'm still getting the impression that starving myself is ok as long as I look slimmer in the end. Hey, I can even eat the unhealthiest food I can find as long as I drop a few pants sizes.
"McDonald's has not released a statement about Coleson's triumph, but the company did tell ABC News 'We applaud his efforts and his results.'"
"I initially thought he was crazy," said Coleson' wife Patricia Sumner
The only person they had refuting it was the Diabetes Association doctor who called it a "starvation diet". Way to say it like it is. Wouldn't that be an eating disorder?

Is it really that hard to stick to grilled chicken breasts, broccoli, brown rice, grilled fish, and anything else that is healthy? Some people are just weak I guess.

People want easy, easier & easiest, they don't want challenging.

I don't even think a clean diet is all that complex. It's pretty easy actually once you know what you can and can't have. These same people will be the first to complain about their image yet will do nothing to change it.
