I dont really feel tired after a lifting session. But I do feel like I struggle when im doing my reps. Its like im busting my ass to get all the reps up, then after a little while I feel fine. I wanna make sure this is the way I should be feeling and if im doing this right because I dont wanna be spending an hour in the gym and wasting my time and doing nothing but gain fat because directly post workout I consume a bunch of simple carbs.

you should basically feel like " i need a mofo protein shake"
On the road to 165lbs 8%bf....
-Toughness is in the soul and spirit, not in muscles ?
-I hated every minute of training, but I said, ''Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'' ali
-The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens. arnold

I always like Id just smoked a fatty.
Tired, yet in a really good mood.
I didnt today though. I was at sea level for 6 months, and today was my first real intense workout since getting back home (Colorado, 6000ft elevation), and I could barely walk out to my truck when i was done. Then when I got home and took my shower I just sat in the tub and let the water splash down onto me for like half an hour. I was in pretty bad shape haha.
