Solution for deadlift bar gripping
Well when the bar is greasy and whatnot, chalk is always the best option. But if you workout at your school like me, and its not allowed, there is another thing...
SWIM CAPS!
Cut a latex swim cap down its fold, and use it as a replacement for gloves and chalk. It's relatively thin, but grips VERY well, especially if you use a non-stached wore-out swim cap.

There are lots of benifits to grip strength. I try to go raw whenever possible. Otherwise good find.

my school has a football program, you'll like this.
For the test at the beginning of the year everyone has to do bench press. They have 90lbs, 140lbs and 225lbs. You choose your weight and rep as many times as you'd like. There was 1 kid who repped 225 once, 3 kids who used 140lbs and about 30 odd kids who used the 90lbs.
The heaviest barbell in our school gym is 90lbs, heaviest dumbell is 25.
2 kids on the football team lifts outside of practice. Our school team is trash, and I won't play for them.

The thing is, if you read the post, even the person with the strongest grip in the world can't grip a slippery olympic bar that's covered in sweat.
Not lack of grip strength, it's lack of friction.
The latex OR lifting gloves do not take away from grip strength.

Yeah dude, you dont want to walk around with one trap.
In the Rippetoes write-up, Kethnaab talk about switching hands every rep to avoid imbalances.

not to much of a difference you are still deadlifting the same way jus different grip but it does help to switch jus so if you do end up going oppisite the next time it doesnt feel weird and wrong. me i switch my grip up everyset let under right over. right under left over. jus so it doesnt feel wrong in the long run.
