Bob Question Slow Cardio
I saw you touch on this in the big question thread but I was wondering if you could explain a little more. Any input from anyone else is appreciated. I did a search but not much came up.
Slow cardio is better for losing weight and not burning up muscle?

You did not do a search because if you did a lot of post/threads would have popped up.
Including Bob's article on the subject listing on BB.com
Stop being lazy!

You're an Ass. I did a search. I've been on this board before it was this board so quit your crying. When you own your own mutli million dollar business and build a beach home just miles from Venice then you can call me lazy.....beehoch! Damn people are so rude on this board.
Forget I asked Bob. I'll go cry in my egg whites.

I sometimes wonder about people. He said he had read the bodybuilding question thread. The first person that posted the question added the link to the article so why ask Bob anymore about it. He says it all in there.

Not only is it in his thread but if you put "slow cardio" or "Bob slow cardio" in the search box about 8 - 9 pages of threads and post will pop up on the subject.
This is the reason why crack heads shouldn't have children. They produce idiots like that dumbazz.

You know...she's right though. If you really would have done a search, your computer would have exploded and you would have died cause it would have been overloaded so much with the threads reguarding this issue.

Try looking at page 2 post #34 of the bodybuilding question thread (took me 5 minutes to find it) Bob actually talks about the slow cardio article he did. and it goes from there....

On a totally unrelated note, cheers to the Celtics! They're finally going to be NBA Champs after the big 3 of Bird, McHale and Parish retired!

My thought is that it isn't slow cardio versus fast cardio, it is a matter of timing. Early in prep (at least mine), you are getting larger amounts of carbohydrates. You can do high intensity cardio, get the calorie burn during the exercise (primarily carbs burned) and benefit from the post-exercise metabolism boost. I believe it is fair to say that carbohydrates are the best fuel for high intensity cardio.
As your prep continues, your carbohydrates are coming down and you don't have the carbohydrate fuel. When I get in this state, I really suffer when doing high intensity cardio. Contest prep is hard enough without adding unneeded suffering. This is the time to switch to longer, low intensity cardio. Your body is then using fat as the primary fuel source.

Yep, we're the losers....coming from the person that supposedly has enough intelligence to build his own business from the ground up but can't use a simple search function on a forum.
Did you miss your alarm to remind you to take your meds or something?
