good job on the weight loss, you started out before the main diet at pretty much my weight and are now at my target weight so nice to see it can be done!

i was wondering what is the difference between a 'normal' keto diet and the Palumbo diet that you follow and what made you choose to follow the palumbo diet rather than a normal keto?

also the meal plan you set out in first page, is that the only meals you eat whilst on this diet or is there variation and what are your typical intake of cals and fat/protein/carb?

finally sorry for asking so many questions, lol.

I'm not really sure what would be the difference between following a 'normal' keto diet and the palumbo, if there even would be any. I just chose the palumbo diet because it was all already laid out before me, so there wasn't the chance of me not getting good/correct macros by making my own 'normal' diet.

The meal plan outlined in the beginning is what I try to stick to every day, but sometimes my parents will cook pork/lamb/any other meat for dinner and I'll just eat their food instead of getting in their way in the kitchen. It doesn't keep the macros perfect but it does keep it from getting boring (and trust me, it will get boring. Very boring).

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been pretty busy getting ready to go back overseas the past few days and haven't logged on

197.5 this morning. Weight has been fluctuating between 195 and 198 the past few days. I'm getting ready to head back to the middle east tomorrow and overall I have to say that I wasn't satisfied with my cut. Trying to drop weight over the holidays just wasn't the smartest idea on my part but I stuck to my diet when I could. My strength has actually gone up a bit, and I've lost probably a good 4 pounds of fat, so I can't complain too much but I know that there was definitely a lot of room for improvement this time around. Also, not having work to provide day-long cardio like I did when I cut over the summer is another factor that was going against me, but that still isn't an excuse. I'm going to try to continue cutting when I get back overseas, which can be both easier and harder. Easier because there isn't as much of the junk food that I love in the states present there, but also harder because it can also be hard to find good cuts of meat and good peanut butter, etc.

I've heard mixed reviews about Animal Cuts but got a good deal on it (2 cans for 50), so I'll be trying that out for the next 3 weeks and see if it helps me any

Back in the middle east today, and weighed in at 198.5. My mom claims that the scale here is 2 pounds heavier than the one I was using in Denver, so if I believe that I'm 196.5. Either way I don't really mind; I can see changes in the mirror (vascularity, more striations) so the weight on the scale doesn't matter to me as long as it keeps dropping

Had to go back and find my thread on the second page. First time that has ever happened, lol.

anyway, been trying to stay in keto now that I'm back overseas and have been doing pretty well so far. Got a new scale that weighs in kilos, and it's putting me at 87.5, which would be 192.5 pounds. I think this scale is on the light side compared to the other two I've been using, but like I said in my last post, I care more about the fact that it keeps moving than the actual numbers.

87 kg this morning, so 191.4 lbs.

I don't really feel anything different happening, other than being jittery the first few days, but it seems like the Animal Cuts is helping -- I haven't dropped this consistently in a long time and it just started after I began taking it.

thanks. I can't really feel it working, but I haven't dropped as much in a while until I started taking it.

At 88kg this morning (193.6). Probably due to getting backed up again (have I mentioned how much I hate that aspect of this diet?)

dude, you do not even need to say anything in that regard; God knows how many times I feel like taking some laxative tabs just to "flush" things out! lol

I will deinitely have to invest in some fiber tabs or powder just to stay regular.

I am taking in loads of veg as well so not sure.

Figures are looking good anyway man so keep it up!

Been around 87.5 kg the past couple days. Think a good part of it is just water weight, since my diet hasn't been perfect recently and I've had some things with a lot of sodium. Not really caring what the scale says at this point, since I'm seeing changes in the mirror all the time. Seems like most of the weight so far on this cut has mostly come off of my thighs and ass, but my adonis belt is starting to show, and I'm much more vascular.

Only really have two things to complain about concerning this right now: the gym (at school) is closed this week because of exams, so I can't lift. I'll still be getting a lot of cardio in, since I'm going to start doing fasted cardio in the mornings and we're doing a lot of conditioning stuff on the rugby team right now.

Second Issue: I've been pissed off a lot lately. You know the 'roid-rage propaganda people tell you about? About guys just flipping out for no reason over the smallest little details? That's been me the past couple days. When I found out that the gym would be closed for the week I flipped out and beat a couple lockers in, which is something that I would definitely not normally do. I've also lost it on several people over the past few days, and each time I have no idea how I kept myself from hitting these kids, because I was pretty much in a blind rage each time.

I just really don't know what's going on, since I'm usually a very mellow guy

Thanks! Hope you had a good weekend, as well.

And yeah, I'd rather be losing a pound than gaining one.

Been floating around the 86 kilo range so far this week. Starting to get vascularity on my calves and on my adonis belt, which is starting to show through even more. Can also see 4 abs depending on how much I've had to eat and the lighting, LOL

Still around the 86 kg mark, but that's mostly due to having my birthday and pigging out for a few days, haha. Have a long weekend and I think I'll stay off the diet until the end of it and do a big carb-up over the next few days, then get back into it full swing afterwards
