Stiffer bag, different bag, or more cushion
Do to an enlarged spleen, I cannot take part in any of my BJJ or Muay Thai classes. Although I cannot spar with others, I bought a free standing heavy bag of craigslist so that I don't go out of my mind, and I can at least just focus on my technique. The only problem is, the padding is too thin, or just not absorbant enough, because a full force kick has me going to the center every time...it's like kicking a tree. While I could see some benefits like deadening the nerves somewhat, I'm really looking for a way to improve the padding or perhaps get some additional pads just for kicking drills.
Please all suggestions are welcome and much appreciated.
