Yes open means anyone man of any age can register for that class. Junior is up to 23. If there is no 181 listed for Junior, you could probably go in and set the state record for that class. Its a little melodramatic when you aren't actually beating anyone, but its your name on the record books.
Just goes to show all of the heavy sldl's and rack pulls really do pay off. Pretty crazy that he hasn't pulled from the floor at all and is able to do that."Until later, may the wombat of happiness snuffle through your underbrush." - David Puddy (banned but not forgotten)

lol, thx man. didnt feel good though, i know i have more in me than that. its gonna be rollin when i get back
dips dont bother me because this is so light. when i added over 100lbs is when the problems started. thats why i like doing them at the end because i dont need to add alot of weight to them
lol, thanks man. id bet we are still pretty close on them though.
no idea man, probably like jb said, sldl and other things carrying over. this was my 3rd time pulling from the floor in the past 1.5 years pretty much
yea i wouldnt care about that. if i do compete, i will have hit higher than the record weight in a gym lift a couple times to be sure. then will at the comp, if all goes according to plan, break the record and then keep going to see what i can do. i probably wont compete until i can pull 600, which will probably be awhile
about a 45 degree angle. arms about shoulder width. pull to my upper abs. maybe a little lower than 45 degrees until i get tired and use a little momentum on the last couple reps lol
cant go that low on these plus that stresses the **** out of my low back especially after deads. at some point ill try to get a vid of a set
yooooooo
been ok man, getting a little better. just a lot of work to be done all the time. just got back from the field today and have to do some work tonight till my day off tommorrow.
nothing much going on, just tryin as hard as i can to keep lifting and hitting it hard
lost alot of fat around my stomach and other areas, serratus is carved in pretty nicely now. no clue if im dropping weight, probably am. eating as much as i can
thanks man, i appreciate that. i never had alot of success eating that much, ive found its more effective for ME to let my body dicate how much i eat and i slowly gain weight and stay lean. probably will attempt to jack up the cals a little though, not a bad idea
i still do lift pretty heavy and ive found good carryover from higher rep work to lower rep work as well, so training is in good shape
lol. sure man, give me some f*cking biceps/triceps and its a deal lolBest Raw USAPL Competition Lifts

haha, yea im not super strong on them. i like to do them later in the workout since im already tired from other **** and dont have to get heavy
i also like to stay pretty tight on these. but yea, id imagine i could rep out 225 pretty well if i started out with em. but deads have a higher priority so no worries. would be cool to get up to 225 at this point in the rotationBest Raw USAPL Competition Lifts

i just got in touch with the guy from the 24/7 workout facility and will be going to meet up with him tommorrow at 730 and be able to train. so i should be able to train in the evenings and on the weekends whenever i want which is sweet.
no more bs 6 am workouts so i will be able to get some damn sleep. im psyched about this, glad to be able to get back to the gym
really leaning up alot here though, my waist is getting very small and tight. good stuff. a little flat from not being able to hit the gym much but i should be fine in a couple daysBest Raw USAPL Competition Lifts

sorry man, didnt see this post
actually, this workout was different than usual. what i normally have been doing is using a weight which for me was 443 and doing as many reps to failure (decent form failure) until i can hit ten reps on the first of 3 sets. once i do that, i will add 10kg to the bar and do the same thing and keep going till it stops working.
i like to keep things simple with progression like that and its a good way to be able to train to the max. it also seems to carryover well to lower rep work.Best Raw USAPL Competition Lifts

definately man. its very hard for me to hold onto weight. i drop it very easily.
well, ive never been a morning guy. plus im in the field staying up late all day and dont get alot of sleep when i have to workout that early then go into the field all day. also, i hate working out on an empty stomach
it will be easier for me to come back here, eat dinner, do my work and then go to the gym. give me time to wake up, get some meals in and get prepped.Best Raw USAPL Competition Lifts

actually, i really want to see a mountain lion. im planning on attempting to fight it and take it down if i see one. (not srs, but it would be sweet)
lots of damn rattlesnakes down here though, i saw 3 yesterday. not cool
well, i actually dislike field geology and what most people think geologists do, aka look at rocks. i do petroleum geology which involves a different type of mapping as well as seismic data and well logs. so its a completely different ballgame and really doesnt have a ton in common.
what this type of work is useful for is more environmental geology which i have absolutely no interest in. however, this is a required course so ive gotta get it doneBest Raw USAPL Competition Lifts

i hear you on the morning thing, but believe me it grows on you given time,
also why would you lift on an empty stomach? get up and make a quick shake, or make a big bowl of oats, takes about 3-5 minutes and ur good to go right after you eat it to the gym.
I use to be the same way, always lfited later because of school in high school + football, but now at college i dont have any other time, and im so use to it, so i still do my 6-7 a.m. workouts back at home now.

If there's an LSU-Mtn Lion clash, vid or negs
You should do some mountain runs while you're in montana. Take a standard hiking trail and run up the fokker. We used to have to do that for dryland training for skiing - coach would make us run up the Royal Arch trail in Boulder. 1500 vert in 4 miles
oh yeah, good to see you got the gym sorted out too.
