o hell yes. ive hit 315 in a bench only meet, but i need to continue to add strength. id like to get where i am repping 315 in a couple months
t and g, but i keep it very controlled on the descent. a quick touch and then go, no bouncing at all. sets werent too tough. trying not to go too insane on the benching while on smolov.

Yeah, I think you're about to make a big jump on the bench, I know that once I got past the 315 barrier I got up to 350 in one sustained move over about 4-6 weeks, one of those awesome stretches where I was constantly progressing. Was weird because I hadn't gone heavy, then one day was doing 8-6-4-2 with 225,245,275,295, got 295x4, so went to 315 which was my max, got it 2x, then killed 335. I would like that to happen again. SOON. NOW.
Anyhow, I think that you may be headed for something similar. I kinda felt good with my bench during the base meso.

Nice volume.
When you are on a program with set weights, you gotta feel somewhat antsy to get back to doing the heavy challenging reps in the 2-4 rep range!
In time, those lifts on the program are gonna get tough. enjoy the lower weights for the time being and keep the form focus. Strong work on the volume squats today

Nice pulling after the lower domination, glad to see rows in Smolov templates. Wasn't sure what to expect from it (only done some minor reading into the principles of it) they're needed appropriately IMO for force coupling.Fitness Journal:

Fourth straight day working out, three out of four squatting. Felt awful during this workout, different gym and just was completley out of groove. Still got all the reps though.

Woke up about 8 times last night, cramping up in my hips and lower back. Right now, I feel like my new form is not dialed in properly, and my hips cannot take the pressure from smolov at my current strength/flexibility levels.
In addition, I am helping my fiancee and others train for nationals this year. With that said, I'm back on RTS protocols with a heavy emphasis on squatting, and doing only one DL variation a week.Best Raw USAPL Competition Lifts

Review
Ran out of time, was looking to do a lot more squatting and some pullups. Deadlifts felt massive, i feel like i could have pulled about 495x5 or more today, the bands were quite a challenge.
The box squats against bands felt great. I really liked the way these felt and they were a great move to help iron out my form and in addition, strengthen my hips, hams etc...
Normally would have done about 5 higher rep sets of free squats here followed by pullups.Best Raw USAPL Competition Lifts
